Split Face Blocks

Wilson Masonry manufacture a split face block designed to replicate the characteristic of split natural stonework. This type of building block is laid with mortar joints and comes in a compatible range of colours to our other products.

Construction with split face blocks will include footings that will be dependent on the height of the wall. The wall will be reinforced with steel with the steel continuing up through the blocks to the top of the wall. Once the wall is complete the blocks are ‘core filled’ with concrete. Typically this type of walling will be designed by engineers with plans specifying full construction details.
